AUSTRALIAN MIST COLOURS & PATTERNS
Australian Mists have a unique coat pattern, from whence they derive their name.
The sepia gene, inherited from their Burmese ancestors, and the tabby pattern, derived from both the Abyssinians and perfected by the domestic shorthairs, merge to form what we term as "misting". Like looking at the cat on a misty day, or through a net curtain.
